The University of the South Pacific uses a learning management system called moodle to deliver its course content via the internet. Moodle allows students and lecturers to communicate effectively anytime, any place. The lecturer can dynamically upload lecture materials, post discussions, send private messages, create assignments, online quizzes, reports etc, and students can view them and participate in a two way communication. No special software is needed, just an internet connection and a browser.
